Rifqa is the 17 year-old girl who converted from Islam to Christ and then ran away for fear her father would kill her for converting. I've talked to several people who know her and they tell me that her faith is very genuine. However, she is being isolated by the authorities her in Ohio - no phone, no internet, no visitors - on what appears to be an attempt to pressure her back into Islam. She has committed no crime, but appears to be under house arrest for having left Islam. Honor killings for those who leave Islam are a reality.
