Today’s university environment is hostile to our Christian faith. The gay agenda, pleasure-seeking hedonism, secular humanism and intellectual atheism are entrenched ideologies on campus which take direct aim at Biblical Christianity. Consequently, few unbelievers honestly examine the claims of Jesus Christ and most Christian students are intimidated into silence and even abandoning their faith altogether.
In 1980, I concluded enough was enough. I had to do my part to stem this growing tide of anti-Christian belief. God led me to follow the pattern in the Book of Acts by publicly preaching His Word out amongst the unbelievers. Taking the Word to the people has proven to be quite fruitful.
When I preach on campus, I challenge the worldview which says Christianity is false, irrelevant and dangerous. I persuasively declare why the Bible is true and Jesus Christ is the way to God. I patiently answer the questions of everyone from genuine seekers to antagonistic skeptics.
Each afternoon, large crowds of students, many of whom would never set foot in a church, listen for hours on end as God’s Word is declared and debated right in the center of campus. Dozens of conversations are spawned as Jesus Christ becomes the talk of the campus. Students are converted to Christ right on the spot and Christians are strengthened to share their faith with boldness.

I think it is fair to say that very few, if any, people in America have spent as many hours and personally engaged with as many atheists, skeptics and lost sinners over the past 28 years as I have. I don’t deliver one or two 30 minute sermons a week; rather, I typically teach and preach over 30 hours a week and that doesn’t even include the time I spend answering e-mail and posting articles on my web-site.
